# Changes, Extensions and New Models

GSQA-PRG-006 · 2.0 · 2026-10-19

## 1. Notice and impact assessment

Changes must be reported promptly with the differences before and after the change, dates, reasons, markets and affected reports. Where the original finding is affected, the changed product must not continue to be promoted under the old scope.

## 2. Separate treatment of requests

Purely textual corrections follow the correction procedure. Technical changes require verification of affected matters. Added models need their own coverage basis, and new markets are assessed against their own requirements. A request does not itself extend the licence.

## 3. Historical and subsequent records

The change outcome states whether the original record is retained, restricted, suspended, replaced or requires a separate application. Original and new records are linked without overwriting historical model, date or evidence facts.

## 4. Identify the change first

Submit the original record, model or configuration differences, date of change, affected markets and reports. Distinguish wording errors, technical changes, new models and additional markets.

## 5. Text corrections do not extend award scope

Errors such as product-name spelling or contact details that do not alter the technical scope may be corrected on request, with the history retained. Changes affecting models, critical parameters, testing basis or markets are not ordinary text corrections.

## 6. Reassessing evidence after technical changes

Changes to design, materials, components, software, production site or qualifications are assessed to determine whether further testing, restrictions, suspension, a replacement record or a new application is required. Applicants may not simply decide that a change has no impact and continue relying on the original scope.

## 7. Separate verification for additional markets

An award in the original market does not replace the requirements, institutional qualifications or documentation for a new market. Change requests are free of charge. Submission does not automatically alter the original record or licence.

## 8. Records, administration and correction

For matters covered by this document, records must retain the application or case number, specific product and market, version used, documents and page references, responsible personnel, material dates, reasons and formal notices. Personal information and trade secrets are handled according to access permissions. Questions about a record may be raised through correction, complaint or reconsideration channels available to an entitled applicant. Submission alone does not alter an existing decision or licence. The outcome is determined by the formal notice and current record.

## 9. Effective date, application and version control

Version 2.0 of this document is published and takes effect on 19 October 2026. It applies to relevant matters formally submitted after that date. Existing applications retain their original snapshot and rules. Material changes are notified separately and handled under transitional arrangements; new conditions are not retrospectively inserted into historical decisions. Website and downloadable texts must agree. Superseded versions identify their replacement, and name or wording corrections are recorded separately from substantive amendments.
