1. Eight-language public content and certificates

The website provides English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Japanese and Korean explanations of the purpose of the award, evaluation criteria, market requirements, application procedures and award verification. Entry defaults to English. Country or region information supplied at the network edge is used to suggest a local language. The prompt uses the suggested language, and switching occurs only after confirmation. The user’s own choice takes precedence, and the preference is retained for 180 days. Website language and award target market are treated separately; changing language does not alter award scope. Certificates are issued only on actual decisions, with every language corresponding to the same model, scope, evidence and valid status.

2. Unchanged technical fields

The eight document languages share standard identifiers, models, values, units, report references and status. A language change cannot create a different finding. Arabic reading direction is handled while models and numbers remain accurate.

3. Accurate language availability

Download options list only languages actually generated and checked. Document language and site-interface language are distinguished. A link returning Chinese must not be presented as a complete foreign-language website.

4. Language corrections and history

Language discrepancies are checked against the original evidence. Corrected records and certificates retain their relationship to earlier versions. Automatic translation must not override technical conflicts. Current validity is determined by the current public record.

5. English as the verification-document language

Original reports, translations, notarisation and authentication documents must correspond to the same number and version. Certificates or public explanations in other languages do not replace complete English-language testing evidence.

6. Correspondence across eight document languages

Documents and certificates use the corresponding fields and versions in English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Model and standard identifiers, numerical values and units remain consistent.

7. Document and interface languages

Site pages retain the selected language. Switching should preserve the current content, search parameters and position wherever possible. All eight languages share standard identifiers, models, values, units and report references; translation must not alter a finding. Official laws, standards and original test documents retain their source language with explicit attribution. Download languages reflect the files actually generated.

8. Preserving the original basis when correcting

Technical differences between language versions are checked against the original material and corrected. Arabic follows its reading direction while models, URLs and units retain their correct order.

9. Records, administration and correction

For matters covered by this document, records must retain the application or case number, specific product and market, version used, documents and page references, responsible personnel, material dates, reasons and formal notices. Personal information and trade secrets are handled according to access permissions. Questions about a record may be raised through correction, complaint or reconsideration channels available to an entitled applicant. Submission alone does not alter an existing decision or licence. The outcome is determined by the formal notice and current record.

10. Effective date, application and version control

Version 2.0 of this document is published and takes effect on 19 October 2026. It applies to relevant matters formally submitted after that date. Existing applications retain their original snapshot and rules. Material changes are notified separately and handled under transitional arrangements; new conditions are not retrospectively inserted into historical decisions. Website and downloadable texts must agree. Superseded versions identify their replacement, and name or wording corrections are recorded separately from substantive amendments.
