Record Status

A record is valid only for the model, configuration, market and period stated in it. Renewal requires current evidence; it is not automatic. Changes to components, materials, manufacturing, intended use, applicable requirements or report status must be declared. A new model or market extension requires a scope decision before the mark is used for it.

Record & Communicate

An award has a defined model, market, basis and validity period. Its multilingual record can be checked using the award number. Subsequent changes, expiry, suspension and withdrawal remain visible through the current status.

Review & Decision

Technical review checks the regulatory baseline, evidence and claimed margin. A separate authorised person makes the decision. Missing or inconclusive evidence is requested through a recorded notice; it is not treated as proof of a higher standard.

Active

The award is within its stated dates and has not been suspended or revoked. Mark use is limited to the recorded scope.

Not yet effective

The recorded effective date has not yet arrived. The mark may not be used as an active award before that date.

Expired

The stated validity period has ended. Expiry alone is not a product safety finding; the current record shows any successor award.

Suspended

Award or mark use is temporarily restricted while the identified issue is examined. A review request does not automatically restore it.

Revoked

The award has been cancelled following a reasoned decision. The record retains the grounds, date and status history.

Withdrawn

The holder has withdrawn from the award within the recorded scope. This status differs from a revocation decision.

Superseded

A later award record replaces this record. Use the linked current record to check the model, scope and validity.
