Website and Public Information Terms

Website and information scope

These terms cover public reading, standards research, rules, award searches, downloads and related routes on the Gold Standard Quality Awards website. Research, explanations, formal rules and genuine award records serve different purposes. Account use and individual applications have separate terms. Public access is not an application or permission to use the mark.

User conduct

Use the site within lawful authority. Do not impersonate, knowingly submit false material, infringe rights, access private files without permission, upload malicious content or disrupt service. References must preserve source, scope and limitations; extracts, edited images or misleading links must not invent awards, approvals or partnerships. Proper complaints and lawful rights requests are not abuse.

Awards and legal responsibilities

A record concerns reviewed facts for the stated model, configuration, use and market. It is not a ranking, purchase recommendation, unlimited guarantee or regulatory market access. Manufacturers, importers and sellers retain their duties. The programme’s review and decisions remain subject to responsibility for actual conduct under applicable law. Non-excludable rights and liabilities remain unaffected.

Issues, disputes and contact

General website issues use contact. Errors, mark concerns, challenges to a party’s decision and privacy requests use their corresponding routes. Identify the page, reference, facts and requested handling. Internal procedures do not remove other channels available under applicable law, and an ordinary receipt is not resolution.

Accounts and applications

Read and actively accept the account terms in GSQA-LEG-002 before account registration. An authorised representative reads and accepts GSQA-LEG-003 and the applicable rules before formally submitting a product application. These are separate records. Website descriptions, registration and saved drafts do not constitute formal submission or a decision on product facts.

Submitted material and rights

Submitted content must be within the provider’s authority and stated purpose. Technical verification, personal-data processing, report publication, mark permission and optional updates are managed separately. Submission transfers no copyright and a general checkbox does not authorise every disclosure, marketing or transfer purpose. Evidence and privacy documents define complete files and public copies.

Charges and award use

Accounts and the application, review, award and maintenance activities listed in the fee policy have no programme charge. External services follow separate arrangements. Award statements and mark use require an effective decision, current record and corresponding permission. Obtaining files, browsing or registering does not grant permission.

Changes and applicable text

Documents follow their actual version, publication and commencement information and retain history and transition under GSQA-DOC-001. Explanations do not waive formal conditions. Material legal or purpose changes are explained as required. Where renewed acceptance or separate permission is needed, continued browsing is not automatically sufficient. Earlier cases and acceptance events are not backdated to a new version.

Privacy and secure communication

Personal information follows the privacy policy and private testing material follows confidentiality rules. General contact needs relevant background, not complete trade secrets, passwords or unrelated third-party data. Private attachments and account matters use the page’s identity and access requirements. Public award verification itself requires no applicant account.

Own and third-party content

Programme names, marks and original writing are distinct from reports, images, charts and text belonging to applicants, laboratories, standards publishers or others. Access, download or attribution is not unlimited permission to copy, translate, sublicense or advertise. Reuse requires checking the particular rights and scope; not all material is owned by the website.

Sources, links and corrections

Research and external information retain publisher, edition, source link and review information. External links visit separate sites with their own terms and data handling. Differences between sources and explanations require checking the actual source, product and date and may be reported for correction. Website summaries do not support unrestricted compliance conclusions.

Copyright, confidentiality and other rights concerns

Report suspected infringement or mistaken disclosure through contact, correction or privacy routes, identifying the page, material, rights, request and necessary support. Access may be restricted while facts and parties’ explanations are examined. A concern is not automatically established; restoration or replacement still requires valid rights.

Access restrictions and service issues

Necessary measures may address security, permissions or abuse, retaining reasons and relevant records. Account restriction and award status changes are separate procedures. Inaccessible files, failed submissions and timing issues can be raised with page, time and receipt details. A system error is not a technical decision.
