Award Mark Licence Terms
GSQA-MRK-001
Conditions of permission
Mark use requires an actual effective award decision and satisfaction of record and permission conditions. The permission identifies the holder, models, configurations, named target markets, period and channels. It is free and limited to that scope; it does not confer regulatory certification, product recommendation, brand-wide recognition or exclusivity. Downloading artwork does not grant permission.
Action following status changes
After expiry, suspension, revocation or withdrawal, online product pages and subsequent promotion must not claim current validity; subsequent production packaging must stop the corresponding use. Handle existing stock and materials according to the actual decision and applicable law, adding a clear status statement where necessary.
Permission and other rights
Permission cannot be transferred to another organisation, extended to other models or used to authorise an unpermitted party. A seller presenting the awarded product must stay within the record and must not imply it holds a separate award. Rights in reports, images and third-party marks remain the user’s responsibility; programme mark permission does not include those rights.
Use only within the award scope
The Gold Standard Quality Awards mark may appear on the awarded model’s packaging, product page and promotional materials, stating the model and necessary market, record number and validity dates. Do not imply that the entire brand is awarded.
Preserve proportions and colours
Use official artwork without stretching, cropping content or changing colours. Do not combine it with symbols that imply government designation, certification or recommendation.
Verifiable promotional wording
A statement may identify the specific model as receiving Gold Standard Quality Awards and link its record. Do not expand the meaning through certification, recommendation, first place, best in class or official designation claims.
Responding to status changes
After expiry, suspension, revocation or voluntary exit, the affected scope must no longer be presented as currently valid. Online material and later production packaging follow the actual status. Existing stock, earlier publicity and historical material are handled under the decision and applicable law, with clear status information where necessary. Reconsideration or renewal does not automatically extend, restore or enlarge permission.
Permission records and changes
Retain the holder, scope, period, channels and subsequent changes in correspondence with the decision, record and applicable version. Additional models, markets or material configurations require the change procedure, not merely revised artwork or a QR code. Errors may be submitted for correction; challenges to formal decisions or restrictions follow reconsideration.
Reports, examination and further use
Suspected impersonation, excessive scope or alteration is checked against statements, permission, records and the parties’ explanations before appropriate action. Ended or restricted permission does not automatically mean the product is unsafe. Resumed use requires an actually valid status and scope. Applicable legal rights remain available.
Materials and verification links
Packaging, product pages and publicity must identify the model and, where needed, the target market, record number and validity dates, directing readers to current verification. Worldwide website access does not make the product awarded in every jurisdiction. Language versions share the same scope rather than extending permission through translation.
