Award Mark Artwork and Promotional Use Rules
GSQA-MRK-002
Artwork files
Use the official available artwork with its proportions, full wording and prescribed colours, after confirming valid permission. Do not invent award levels or regulatory seals, or combine marks to suggest government designation or institutional partnership. Artwork downloads provide files, not permission or broader recognition.
Size and clear space
Choose a display height that is clearly legible and leave clear space of at least one tenth of the mark’s width around it. Do not omit essential wording through blurred small images, obstruction or cropping. Where the medium cannot display it clearly, use text and a record link instead.
Evidence-based promotion
Numerical claims must retain the indicator, conditions, report and scope. Do not convert a percentage below a limit into a percentage improvement in safety, or claim global or category leadership without comparison.
Permitted statements
A statement may identify the actual model as a recipient and link to its scope, basis and current validity. Use the real model, award number and record link rather than presenting an illustrative model as a real case. Do not add unsupported “best” or “first” comparisons or describe the award as regulatory certification.
Do not extend an award to the entire brand
An award for one model must not become “the entire range has passed Gold Standard Quality Awards”. New configurations, products and markets require their own scope basis.
No certification, recommendation or ranking claims
Do not claim “Gold Standard Quality Awards certification”, “Gold Standard Quality Awards recommendation”, “first place”, “best in class” or “officially designated”. Do not imply that an award replaces regulatory approval, registration or other market-access procedures.
Preserve conditions for quantified advantages
Numerical promotion must correspond to the original report, standard clause and test conditions. “40% below the limit” does not mean “40% safer”. One superior characteristic does not establish leadership in all performance areas.
Checks before publication
Check permission status, model and market, artwork proportions and clear space, language, data conditions and verification link. Where a small medium cannot clearly display the full mark, use wording and a verification link instead of cropping text. Third-party charts, institutional logos and branding require their own rights; appearing in a report is not permission to reproduce them.
Incorrect material and corrections
Incorrect links, model confusion, distorted artwork or overbroad statements are checked against the current record and corrected. Status, permission or technical scope cannot be changed as a design correction. The public may submit the page, image, identifier and issue. Handling follows verified facts, not an assumption that a report already proves misuse.
