Household and similar electrical appliances within GB 44246 and the corresponding appliance definition, including electrical sanitary functions where applicable.
Requirements
Apply the mandatory safety specification with the relevant GB/T 4706 general and product-specific supporting requirements. Identify appliance type, construction and applicable hazards. CCC is a separate catalogue/procedure question; it is not inferred solely from a GB/T report.
Required Evidence
Provide the mandatory-to-supporting-standard mapping, full general/particular reports, model and critical-component schedule, and applicable CCC certificate and factory records.
Comparison for the Awards
A pass is the entry baseline. Any core safety or performance margin must identify the actual mandatory requirement, accepted method and reliable measured surplus.
Version & Transition
GB 44246-2024 and the supporting GB/T 4706 standards took effect on 1 August 2026. Do not continue presenting GB 4706.1-2005 as the unqualified current general route.
