Electric tools: CCC route transition
Identify the market and product category first. Each dossier separates legal duties, referenced standards, evidence and the comparison needed for an award.
Product Scope
The listed drills, grinders and rotary hammers within the CCC catalogue; other tools require their own product-scope assessment.
Requirements
Use the applicable general and particular safety/EMC standards and the CCC implementation rule. The change from self-declaration to third-party certification has a defined transition and does not mean every historic product is immediately unlawful.
Required Evidence
Provide exact tool identity, complete relevant reports, critical components and the declaration/certificate and production date applicable to the transition.
Comparison for the Awards
Torque, speed or battery capacity do not replace a safety comparison. Evidence must show an applicable safety/performance criterion with consistent conditions.
Version & Transition
The trial rule was issued 11 April 2026 and implemented 1 July 2026. Third-party applications opened from July 2026; the announced certificate/mark requirement starts 1 January 2027 with the stated legacy-stock conditions.
Official Sources
Applicability depends on the product classification, intended use, configuration and actual sales territory. Manufacturing, placing-on-the-market and testing dates, together with transition provisions, are checked as required by each applicable rule. The directory identifies sources; it does not replace assessment of the specific model. Standards are identified by reference, and their authoritative texts remain with the issuing bodies. Official source documents retain their original language.
