CN · GB 6675 Parts 1–4; applicable CCC toy rules
Toy safety: current requirements and November 2026 change
Identify the market and product category first. Each dossier separates legal duties, referenced standards, evidence and the comparison needed for an award.
Product Scope
Toys within the series definitions, assessed by intended age, play function, materials, batteries, magnets and accessible parts.
Requirements
Map basic, mechanical/physical, flammability and element-migration requirements to the actual toy. Product-specific rules and applicable CCC toy categories remain separate; not every test applies identically to every toy.
Required Evidence
Provide complete applicable reports, age determination, material/component schedule, warnings and required CCC records.
Comparison for the Awards
A qualitative no-hazard result cannot be converted into an invented percentage. A measurable core comparison needs the correct version and exposure/test conditions.
Version & Transition
As of 19 October 2026, the 2025 editions of Parts 1–4 are published but not yet operative; their implementation date is 1 November 2026. Keep the current and forthcoming regimes explicitly separate.
Official Sources
Applicability depends on the product classification, intended use, configuration and actual sales territory. Manufacturing, placing-on-the-market and testing dates, together with transition provisions, are checked as required by each applicable rule. The directory identifies sources; it does not replace assessment of the specific model. Standards are identified by reference, and their authoritative texts remain with the issuing bodies. Official source documents retain their original language.
