Product Scope
Food-contact utensils, containers and packaging classified by material and intended use; the full current Korean notice determines the applicable provisions.
Requirements
Identify the actual material, food-contact layer and intended conditions before selecting specifications and migration tests. Imported and domestically supplied goods also have their own relevant procedural obligations.
Required Evidence
Provide controlled composition, full applicable material/migration reports and intended food/time/temperature/reuse conditions, with traceable manufacturer/model identity.
Comparison for the Awards
A result from a different material, simulant or temperature does not establish an equivalent margin. No superiority claim follows from 'food grade' wording alone.

The official consolidated notice reflects 27 March 2026, No. 2026-24. The MFDS English 2016 attachment is historical and must not be presented as the current Korean requirements.
