Low-voltage components, motors and welding equipment: CCC categories
Identify the market and product category first. Each dossier separates legal duties, referenced standards, evidence and the comparison needed for an award.
Product Scope
Only catalogue-defined low-voltage assemblies/components, small-power motors and listed welding equipment. A component and a complete machine are different certification objects.
Requirements
Select the actual catalogue code, rule and referenced technical requirements. The current directory retains a distinct self-declaration entry for low-voltage assemblies while other listed categories use their own rules, including 2026 trial rules.
Required Evidence
Provide product-code determination, full reports for the actual assembly/component, declaration or certificate, factory information and intended incorporation.
Comparison for the Awards
Certification of a motor or component cannot establish the complete machine's compliance or an above-regulation conclusion for that machine.
Version & Transition
Use the official rules directory updated August 2026 and the specific rule's effective/transition terms rather than assuming all categories changed together.
Official Sources
Applicability depends on the product classification, intended use, configuration and actual sales territory. Manufacturing, placing-on-the-market and testing dates, together with transition provisions, are checked as required by each applicable rule. The directory identifies sources; it does not replace assessment of the specific model. Standards are identified by reference, and their authoritative texts remain with the issuing bodies. Official source documents retain their original language.
