Complete report inventory

For each report, identify its number, edition, testing and issue dates, body and site, total pages, annexes, sample and covered models. Link corrections, replacements, retests and related nonconforming reports, identifying which versions remain applicable. Where several reports support a case, map each to its work rather than using one cover page as a summary of all evidence.

Technical comparison annex

Record the clause, method, conditions, limit, unit, measured result, page reference and necessary uncertainty. Identify core items and explain their relationship to the product’s principal use, quality or safety.

Currency and authenticity

Assess validity against the destination market’s actual time limits and changes to standards and products; no artificial uniform expiry period applies. Check digital signatures, original provenance and report verification separately. A screenshot or seal alone does not establish authenticity.

Submit all reports in full

Provide the cover, every numbered page, methods, conditions, results, conclusions, limitations, attachments and revisions. Disclose relevant failures, deviations, corrective action and retesting together; do not select only passing results.

Match the product and market configuration

Check sample description, model, ratings, materials, critical components and software. For a report covering a series, state the coverage relationship; a similar appearance alone cannot extend its conclusions.

Trace measured results to standard clauses

For each basis of award, record the standard and edition, specific clause, limit direction and unit, test conditions, measured result and report page. Resolve non-comparability or outstanding differences before proceeding.

Assess currency against actual requirements

Check market-specific time limits, standard editions and product changes; there is no universal report age limit. Original electronic files are preferred and scans must be complete and legible. An image of a seal is not a verified digital signature.

Substantive public evidence

Complete review reports are submitted under access controls; authorised results pages or charts are prepared separately. Public copies retain necessary sample, method, conditions, results and report identification and are labelled full, extract or redacted. Disclosure follows GSQA-EVD-005. A smaller public extract does not reduce the complete evidence required for technical review.

File receipt and additional information

After upload, check the displayed file name, size, identifier and case association. Damaged files, missing pages, unreadable annexes or unlocatable results require specific supplementation while retaining the earlier version. Scans must be complete and legible. Format or storage checks establish receipt or readability, not authenticity, method suitability or an award.

Use of evidence in the case

Clause comparisons are recorded under GSQA-EVD-007, qualifications checked under GSQA-EVD-001, and originals linked to English material under GSQA-EVD-003. Independent confirmation uses only the material necessary for the body concerned. Submitting a report does not authorise unrestricted publication, transfer copyright or permit unrelated publicity.
